Nicole Montovio has been dancing since she was four
years old. Throughout the years Nicole was taught
by Alfred Ramirez, Lionel Perez, became member of
the Alfa Group and also got involved in ballet to
improve her technique.
Since 1999, Nicole runs the Mediterranean
Dance Group which focuses on salsa and Latin dance.
Starting with just 18 students, by 2005 the group
was over 80 for which Nicole, mum of 2 and with a
full time job, dedicates 4 hours a day.
Nicole Montovio admits that the dance
group is a lot of hard work, however the satisfaction
she gets from seeing her students perform and enjoy
themselves makes it all worth it. Furthermore, Nicole
believes that it is not all about dance, but also
about engaging with her students and helping them
develop as people.
