ROM : From the Spanish RONOSO meaning to be MEAN, A MISER.

ROPIA : Name given to a stick of Rock candy. Could derive from the Spanish ARROPE which means SYRUP.

ROSTO : Name of a popular local dish of Italian origin consisting of Macaroni, Meat, Tomatoes, Mushrooms and grated cheese.
